Joyce Aboussie raises $1.1 Million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in St. Louis, MO

The St. Jude 50th Anniversary Kick-off Gala raised $1.1 million and drew 900 guests to the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch on June 18. The celebration was among the first to note the hospital’s upcoming 50 years of finding cures and saving children in 2012. ALSAC Board member Joyce Aboussie served as chairperson of the event, which honored Michael and Noèmi Neidorff for their support of St. Jude. Michael Neidorff is CEO of Centene Corp. St. Jude National Outreach Director Marlo Thomas and her husband, television personality Phil Donahue, both spoke at the gala and presented each of the Neidorffs with an award.  World renowned singer Tony Bennett was on hand to provide stellar entertainment.  Joyce Aboussie is a lifetime resident of St. Louis, MO.
